You are the ray of sunshine  every morning

your harvest is not my healing

But what of my writing,  what about the words that come  to calm the wounds

The dawn was never a traitor, always a friend 

Wild women do not hide

Loneliness  is how my heart  beats faster

You say you are immortal then what am I?

I am so different  from the woman I once was

When you construct a wall of silence around you

There is no single place on which to rest  my heavy heart

There is loneliness  without you

Fill me  with the songs 

All the world  is a palette

There is a path to destiny  and a path to darkness

When the dust settles, the colors of the dawn come alive

Stars strike  in my surrender

I found a glowing sun within me 

In each quiet corner, there is a soul

Fill me up like the ocean

When your heart longs for a sign

As the moon bends

I am always  running with time

Caress me  when the night 

My heart does not surrender as easily as others

Even when  my tears fill up

Be patient  with your growth

You cannot singe me  in a ring of fire

The darkness is like a sword

I keep my darkness in a drawer, tucked away

I am a lioness

Touch me with the waves of forgiveness, hold my reality tightly in a jar

The wild seeps into my bones

Show me the way, I asked my angels

I have always thought of myself like water 

I lie beneath the sky tonight, kiss you goodnight

My mother calls me  a jack-in-the-box, for I cannot stand still

There is such thing as hot and cold together

From the depths of the ocean, I cry out for the sun

When the thunder rolls outside and my body quakes with fear

In the forest, I hear the birds call like a lullaby

Pull in the light like a ship, it will carry you

A voice from above showed me the way

You were the only one I opened to

Like a candle burns in darkness

I taught myself to visit another place

Drop a dime of love into my waters

When I fall, I catch myself for every drop is a disguise

Each step upon the golden stairs of courage is a promise to myself

I left myself in a storm of worry

Don’t you realize that you are the universe

The colors in my life have faded

You are like lightning

Worry not, my dear you are the starlight

Who will stand by your side

Be careful what you ask the universe for

When the wolf shows his fangs and the moon shivers in the sky

If I did not welcome dawn, I would succumb to suffering

Our blood is stronger than venom

I pray for some guidance in the forests of fear

I was broken long before I healed

Hello, my aching soul

My bones are made of rebirth

I have lost the map to my soul

Forgive me for my brokenness

I am like a wolf, some days, howling at the moon

My mind is a garden

Moonlight coats me in her cloak

Once in a while, I let my heart spill out on the page

I wanted to inspire, I wanted to transform

My persistent heart

Why am I sharp and shallow

I remember the time when I collected all the remnants

You touch me. Waves of shivers shock my body, chill my spine, permeate my core.

I am ablaze like a fire. I am a sparkler, coming to life.

You shed the embryo of us like a shadow. It fell away immediately.

You are fading from me, an image frozen in time, a single picture, so still in my mind, but slipping from my consciousness.

Rawness: when the frail heart surrenders itself like a bloody flag, throwing up its white wings of peace, of surrender.

Hello night, your seduction pulls me in. I grow drunk on midnight poetry. I betray all order.

These divine thoughts cannot be from me. They are flecks of gold washed up on the shore, They are fragments of dust from a shooting star.

My mind has been buried in haze. In my little room, I ruminate Over this solitude, this kindling that ruptures like a fire.

When the darkness crowds outside, when the cockerel halts her murmurs, I cleanse myself to sleep, warm my frame for dreams.

This is how I felt with you, as if with words, I wasn't speaking or wasn't being heard

The spirit of the egress rests inside my soul, its wispy, gentle wings enable me to soar.
